Boasting a growing membership, Team CMT and the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation (HNF) are celebrating a successful first year of collaboration.
While running the Philly Half-Marathon, Joe will be raising funds for the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation (HNF). So far, he has raised $ 1105.00 through private donations and hopes to gain corporate sponsors as well.
As manager of Team CMT and in partnership with The Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation, Chris intends to use this opportunity to raise awareness about CMT on a grander scale.
“I call Charcot-Marie-Tooth a blind disease because you can’t see it. People say I look fine and can’t understand that I have a problem.
Recently, the 42 year old mom of three joined Team CMT- Richmond hoping to spread awareness and raise funds for research and a cure.
“America’s Friendliest Marathon,” held in Richmond, VA this past weekend, included some important friends of the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation who ran to raise awareness of Charcot-Marie-Tooth and to generate funds for research to find a cure.
