Envigo, a premiere laboratory animal sourcer, has developed a rat model for two types of CMT. (CMT4A-GDAP1 and SORD deficiency). We are thrilled to report that the projects we initiated in 2021 are completed. Both rats show disease and are excellent models to advance gene and biological therapies for both types of CMT.
