Almost 10 now, Erin was diagnosed Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) four years ago. Over those four years there have been numerous trips to Boston for treatment and surgery.
When Chris Wodke received her acceptance letter to run in the 2012 Boston Marathon Mobility Impaired Division, she was overwhelmed. “I wanted to cry and shout at the same time. I never thought I would be running Boston. It is an honor and I am humbled. It is the achievement,” she explains, “of a dream that seemed out of reach.”

Congratulations to Chris Wodke, manager of Team CMT, who placed second in the Mobility Impaired Division of the 2012 Boston Marathon on April 16!
Di also did something special for Team CMT. “I took my body to the absolute limit yesterday, Sunday, April 15th, in honor of Chris Wodke’s Boston Marathon run which took place the next day. I walked (no jogging or running) in one direction and had my husband pick me up when I couldn’t go any further.”
Morgan Johnson doesn’t have Charcot-Marie-Tooth, but she is quickly learning everything she can about it.
